I'm hesitant to give him the magical weapon he had in the original encounter, since he's already getting a bonus to hit from the Fighter template I applied to make him elite. I'm also curious about the fact that the bugbear entry has damage set at 1d12, while a morningstar normally is a 1d10 weapon. (The chart on DMG p185 doesn't account for this, either.)
