In the original adventure, Calcryx is a wyrmling, a CR 1 dragon. The 4E Monster Manual only goes as low as a young dragon (a level 3 solo brute). I've reduced its level to 2, size to medium, and downgraded the breath weapon damage just a touch. Having the dragon be a little beefier isn't really such a bad thing, since it helps explain how the small force of kobolds has kept the goblins at bay so long.
